Hi All , its been along time since I posted , just wanted to know what yous think of using Nematodes to keep snails and slugs away ? We are tortured with them and just read about them in sunday paper , does it work ? and can anyone tell me other good ways of keeping the little blighters  at bay

I'm afraid I've never used them, but I'm sure someone on here has done.  they may be along later!

I've never usued them but, If you use search for 'slug nematodes' there are 7 pages of threads about them

Never used those, but they are only work on slugs, not snails

I use Growing success advanced slug killer, its Organic and very child and pet safe.
I find this to be very good. I also put small pots in the ground and fill them up with water and yeast (similar to the beer) and each week i empty them, its full of slugs and snails.
Coffee and tea grounds works well too. I put mine around cabbages and i have never had them attack them in my raised beds
