Ihave just bought anew flame burner and it seems to work fine, however Ihave now discovered that parrafin is not as easy to get hold of as I was once able to .To that end has anyone any thoughts on if I might be able to use an alternative fuel.

Nope it's designed for the viscosity of paraffin and combustibility, anything else could be or would be dangerous.   :)

Ditto richie's reply.
Under no circumstances must you use anything other than what it was designed for.
You could get very badly burned, or even worse!!
I've noticed that a lot of petrol stations sell paraffin in 5 ltr containers around this time of year, maybe some near you might do the same? :D

I ve taken over a new alotment with mostly grass covering.

I would like to burn off an area 7m x 20 m.

How do you find it and do you think its up to job.

I can no longer physically rough dig and weed.

Do you think this and tilling surface would do.

Thanks al
