Garden leaf blower ?
« on: April 22, 2019, 15:59 »
I have a Photinia tree which has a lot of leaf drop.   I have a Bosch, leave vac, but it is very heavy, and quite difficult for me over the gravel beds.   Can you suggest a lightweight leaf blower, it can be electric, that might be more manageable for me.  Perhaps, I am clutching at straws, or even leaves, and you may say it would totally unsuitable)   (Sorry I might have put this in the wrong place)      Thanks, Mrs Bouquet

I did go out and use a spring rake to get them all off the gravel.  Also I have read the tree disease article, and it may have something like that.   I did not recognise any of the products spoken of though.   Given that it is a tree, the trunk is about 6/7 ft then crown on top, I am not sure how I would treat it.   I have just given it a good feed of fish.blood and bone.   Hopefully that will help.   I hope I don't lose it, because a) it was very expensive and b) it goes along way to partially obscuring something elsewhere.    Mrs Bouquet

Hello have you looked at the new cordless range of Stihl blower vacs they also do a battery pack as a back pack expensive but apparently good  you could be cheeky and ask Stihl if you could try one on demo for assessment to tell others in allotment .org  what they're like   jezza
