hi can someone give me a run down on what sort of conditions are ideal once they have germinated

also are the slow growing in first year ?

Just keep them gently moist so they don't develop damping off fungus, give them some sun and they'll make good progress. Once they're big enough to handle, move them into individual pots or a deep planting flat and let them carry on. Not sure you'll get berries this year, but definitely next year.

My experience with them was that they are very slow growing. I got loads of different varieties germinated, but they did not get big enough to go outside before winter. Trying to overwinter them indoors I had exactly the problems that Trillium mentions, not enough light and damping off. I gradually lost them all. I think that if you can get them large enough to go into a cold frame for winter you would have a much better chance of success.

When you transplant them make sure you don't put them in too deep, the little centre crown where everything grows from must not be buried, else its more or less a death sentence for the plant.

Depends on the variety on whether they fruit 1st year and when you've sown them.
