New rhubarb just planted March .

Hiya all , i planted the rhubarb back in March ... it seems healthy , my question is ... do i remove the dead leaf as in the picture , or do i let it rot down ?

Personally I would remove the dead leaves and put them on the compost heap.  It's not viatal though ;)
