i will read up on the links u guys have posted and thankyou for them , i have just been round the run with a fine needle as they say an collected up all poos from adult an babies and not one of them had any signs of blood in them could i take that as a good sign or not ? i am not worried about losing money from the selling of the eggs { that only re buys thier feed anyway } i just dont want to make any of my customers ill and some have been warned and they are fine about not having any of my eggs for a month .
i klnow its silly but i could do without this as my old dog whos my rock has got to go in for major dental surgery very soon and i am already worrying about him and the large bill to follow { sorry just got out of debt   tpyical animal to put me back in it } .

forgot to add  while colecting poos one of the adult ones had weeny little wormy things in ?? i have some verm x and flubenvet left but i bet i cant mix those with the coxiod can i

i have read all those links an i am now assuming they are on the start of tthis Coccidiosis  so i am going to treat them all to be on the safe side the only thing thats worrying me is the cost of this organic feed as i have only just brought new sacks of what i normally use today and i cant get any organic stuff tell tomorw morning .

Hi Looby, only treat the young ones, dont worry about the adults, they will have developed a natural immunity over time. Do the youngsters look healthy looby? If they have blood in their poo, and its cocci, they should look a bit "ruffled" with droopy wings.   In the meantime, pop some ACV in their water.
I think just a small bag of chick crumb from the smallholders range should be fine, even if they are on growers it wont matter. Oh  another important point dont give the youngsters any vitamin supplements for a while. :)

Might be an idea to move them back into the other run Looby, you'll be able to keep a closer eye on their poops if not mixed up with the adults :)

Basically if you give vitamins during treatment they will interfere with the action of coxoid, so I would until the course is finished and has been effective before giving any vitamins. :)

i have checked thier poo this morning that they done overnight in the smal shed and it all looks very normal no evidence of blood what so ever and the babies are all bright an eating well with no signs of ruffed up feathers or droopy wings , one poo outside in thier run looked a weeny bit red but when i looked closer at it it seemed as if it was more of thier in linings then blood .
