So oh helped to build me a new veg plot today it's 6m x2.6m. so far I have got some rhubarb in there , two gooseberry two red currents and two raspberries pluss my mom is going to give me some Japanese wine berries. My problem is what would make the most of the rest of the space, I fancy growing some chard never tried it before? Would would you lot suggest?

Depending on how close it will be to the permanent planting, I would avoid root crops or anything that requires digging to harvest.  You don't want a lot of competion for, or disruption to, the permanent plants.

I was planning on growing potatoes and carrots in tubs. I fancy trying something a bit different?

Sweetcorn? tastes fantastic provided you get it from plant-to-boiling-water within a few minutes.  Choose a Supersweet / Tendersweet variety.
