It looks like a Spanish bluebell to me

just had a quick look at a picture of a spanish bluebell and it does look very similar except the flowers are white.

They can range from white to pinky lilac to true blue  :)

many thanks for identifying it. Is this something that will come back year after year.  They are beutiful looking flowers

If it's the Spanish variety keep an eye on them, they spread like weeds.
