I hope this doesn't sound morbid for a new owner but they can be a lovely Memorial once your pet passes away.

Having just been "caught" mousing....

If I didn't tell you, would you believe this is the same dog? 



Taken a couple of days ago after one of a number of very long forest walks. We reckon it was just a ploy to get in even more walking whilst the humans had to search for clean water to get her into.

That just shows that if you lost your dog and posted the first picture no one would recognise it.

  That's true. She only gets like that in forests, she has this knack of finding the most disgusting ditches.  Believe it or not, by the time I took those snaps she had dripped or shaken quite a lot of it off all over us.

That I could believe - when I go for walks on the beach it seems that most of the dogs like to come up and shake off the water and sand all over me. She really looks as if she was enjoying herself.

She loved it we all did apart from the muddying. I don't notice the shaking so much when its only sea water, but I suppose she does it just as much..

Missing this gorgeous boy today - can't believe its been a year.  He was always getting in the water bless him.

What a beautiful picture, you must miss him so much.  It is 11 months since we lost our Bagpuss and I still look for her sometimes when I come in the front door or down the stairs on a morning.

He looks such a happy lad.  What a lucky boy to have had a lovely life with you.  Sending you hugs (and a few tears because I am 'wet eyed') xxx

I don't dare think about any of my lost friends or I'd been in a blue funk all day and probably crying. They all more than touched my life, so I empathize with everyone who's lost a dear friend.
