At the moment it lives with another tortoise at the boyfriends house so no meeting yet but come August when they're off to America, they'll both be coming here, that gives me plenty of time to brush up on my tortoise keeping skills and Pip time to . . . . well I was going to say  become less bouncy but he is a border collie ::)

Here is Jake as a puppy, he is a working springer with the energy of a hyperactive child

He is a trained (still in training and will be for a long while) gun dog so will retrieve items shot mostly such as phesants and rabbits, he will also flush phesants and other animals out of bushes etc. He needs lots of mental stimulation as well as physical excersise. He may be an intelligent animal but it only extends to training as his favourite pass time other than the devotion he shows to a tennis ball is chasing shadows.........  ::)
Gained an allotment on the 19th June 08, 135ft by 40ft! eekk. Finally after 4 years it is looking like an allotment and not a jungle

We have 5 lovely hens in the garden, fish, 2 dogs and 2 canaries
