Dogs, does anyone really understand them?
« on: July 31, 2022, 09:44 »
I have a Border Collie. Every morning at about 7.30 I take him for his first walk of the day. This area is infested with rabbits and my dog won't rest until he's chased them out of my field into a neighboring one. This morning we came across a youngster obviously on its last legs with myxomatosis. Instead of attempting to chase it my dog came over all soft and nuzzled it.

One of our cats caught a young rabbit-  carefully carried it into the house, groomed it like a kitten and growled the other cats away. Oh, he thinks it's a kitten.. then he ate it.
