bread crate

Probably not worth mentioning but I used a bread crate to space out my seed holes the othe day. Noticed the holes were a good distance apart and it also flattened my soil down so it was good and level. Anybody else use anything like this on their plot? Or is there a commercial spacer on the market?

actully it seems a good idea to me i think if maybe its possible to cut the longest narrow section to make it more managable sounds good cheers.

I saw a tip similar to this on some telly show where the presenter drilled holes in a piece of plywood. Having it ready to go in a bread crate is far easier.

interestingly we've found that most older roofs have more than enough strength, it's more modern roofs that are more precisely designed that it's difficult to add things onto...
