Title: Chicken weight?

Does anyone know the approximate weight of a healthy Warren size hen please? Our girlies aren't overweight by any means but I want to check if Sweet Pea has lost any while she's been poorly. Will be placing each in a bowl on the kitchen scales as I don't think they would move the dial on the bathroom scales very far!  ::)

The average for a hybrid is 2kgs Pinky!  Sometimes slightly less but not much

Thank you GrannieAnnie!  :D I will be weighing the girls tomorrow as today has run away with me, what with usual Sunday stuff and added insect forages around the garden log piles with Sweet Pea in the hope of kick starting her appetite again. It worked too as she ate all of her supper mash after feasting on woodlice. Love is actually being able to watch one of your darlings devouring wriggling woodlice!  :tongue2:

Some of my chickens don't even like worms!  let alone woodlice!!  :nowink:
