Eggs in pot plant (Answer supplied)
« on: May 12, 2009, 16:54 »
About a month ago we moved all our pot plants to the conservatory for their annual summer holiday.

I noticed two of the plants had loads of Yellow and Green "Eggs" in the compost, of all of our plants these were the two un-healthiest.

These eggs are about 2 and 3mm in size, Yellow and Green and crunch like an insect with a Green type ooze inside.

For weeks I have been wondering about these eggs to almost taking a photo and doing a web search (but life got in the way). Could they be Spiders, Weevils, all sorts of insect life?

So today whilst having a cup of tea in the conservatory the wife says, "I think I want to get rid of that plant" so I agree and say, "I would like to know what those eggs are".

Wife then tells says "I wonder if they could be the .Miracle Grow slow release tablets I used last year".
