Title: Repair of polytunnel
Post by: StarterKay on January 28, 2024, 17:53
Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place I'm new.

Does anyone have any ideas for me to repair this polytunnel. It's together at the moment with tape but the tape is peeling off and I'm sure a bit of wind will destroy it again

When mine ripped years ago I used the wide version from here https://www.firsttunnels.co.uk/spare-accessoriesDetail/polythene-repair-tape (https://www.firsttunnels.co.uk/spare-accessoriesDetail/polythene-repair-tape)
Good luck with it! and welcome to the forum  :D

If you've got the budget that site also supplies polythene for re-skinning the tunnel. Looks like a good frame there so worth the investment if you can.

Yeh the frame is fine. I was wondering about sewing it back together?
I just want to see if I can fix it as the cover I dug into the ground. So replacing it would mean alot of stress. .  I will try some more tape! :)
