My aunt gave me some snowdrop bulbs when should i plant them?

Hi Snowdrop,

The best time to plant them is in the spring "in the green", just after flowering. I'm guessing these will be dried if you only got them recently? You can buy them dried in the autumn when most bulbs are available for sale and these you would plant in the autumn, but to be honest I can't see any point in your keeping them back. I'd plant them now.

I'd plant them now as well so when they're ready to flower in late winter the roots are well set. But do mark where you've put them so you don't accidentally dig into into that spot.
