[Lost in France]

Today it's rained here, on and off, all day but...three of my little silkies just stayed out enjoying rooting around absolutely soaking wet! It hasn't rained for ages so, maybe, they just love a change?!  They looked so bedraggled at bedtime, very sorry sights! My older girls alway stay under cover on wet days but not these three young hens..completely bonkers they are! Poor Buster has had to keep checking on them, he just runs out, quick check and back under cover again!

Anyone else got chooks that seem to love being out in the rain??!

Next wet day, I'll get some "wet hen piccies"!

Ours do that too, they wander in and out in the pouring rain (not that we have had much) they end up looking very bedraggled. Even when the hen house was flooded out they were not bothered- carried on laying eggs    they just waded through inches of mud.
