Anybody tried these little critters ?
You can buy 'em online add to water and they just anihilate the slug population, fact or fiction ?

I have bought into a repeating programme this year so that the slugs are never given a chance to develop and eat my veges and fruit.  First year of planting everything was decimated, las tyear was as bad til I drowned the little critturs in nematodes.  This year that plot was almost slug free even after winter but I still gave them a treat ment 4 weeks ago.  Got a new plot now too that does have slugs by the dozen so that one will be included in the next nematode attack.  It's expensive but I like to eat my own crops and not have them eaten by slimy slugs.  don't do much to anything else though so I have to live with the other beasties that attack from the air or at ground level.

No, last year i waited til the summer, or rather  didn't discover them until the summer nd used them then.

Any idea where a good place to get them is?
They seem expensive if you buy 'nema slug'

I got mine from greengardener.co.uk - tenner for a small pack and twenty for a large one.  That included postage too.  I think I paid over 12 quid plus P&P for a small pack last year!
