Don't know - we took off our weed membrane completely before watering in the nematodes. I wouldn't want to spend all that money on them only to have them sit on the fabric instead of going where they're needed.

My opinion would be that nematodes are so small that they would wash through membrane but I would put plenty of water on.

Have you asked the suppliers. Why not email them? We would all be interested.

Is it warm enough for nematodes?
The baby slugs are definitely about now but I'm a bit concerned that the nematodes will die in the cold

Last year suppliers said that nematodes would get through enviromesh. In practice the volume of water hitting an enviromesh tunnel creates a waterfall and the bulk does not penetrate but washes down the sides. If your weed membrane is not flat same thing is liely to happen.

I would think it would depend on the width of the membrane, if its under a pathway then we are talking 2' width max, watering both sides of the membrane, the nematode parasite would work their way under. Nematodes are a living worm and do not stay where they are applied, they actively seek out their prey, namely slugs in this instant.
The instructions supplied with your nematodes will tell you the optimum soil temperature to apply them, they can be stored for up to six weeks in the fridge before application too.
There are nematodes you can get for other pests too.

Hope this helps.
