Young hen, very fit, laying until a couple of days ago (she may still be but not certain).

Looks well, eating and drinking and moving around but with a limp...also lifts one leg off ground when standing. doesn't flinch when I move leg around and no obvious cut or damage to leg or foot?

It may just be a small sprain. Check for any heat or swelling from the foot, and in particular anything that looks " wart like" on the base of the foot which could indicate "bumble foot"
The ground is quite hard here, and I noticed one of mine limping, she was fine the next day though.
