Hi all can anyone tell me when can you remove heat light from silkie chicks, I know normal hen chicks is about 8 weeks but silkies have funny fethers so wondered if its the same

Yep, it's the same.  As long as they are fully feathered they should be OK.  Just rmember silkies are not waterproof like "normal" hens, and should be protected from the rain
