Hi what date did you put them in the G/H?
Mine are showing a lot of healthy green growth but I've not yet had a furtle.

2" plenty big enough for first feed. I usually leave it too late and kick myself for not starting sooner, when I see how big they are. i havent furtled yet but I planted international kidney on 21st Feb. Nice lush tops but I dont think they have been there long enough yet. At least another couple of weeks i reckon. What variety were yours Micks ?

Don't beat yourself up about it. What you aren't eating today you'll be eating later.

I have 3 PJs in a bag from 26th Feb and am counting down the weeks till the first dinner. They don't look at all ready yet but are putting a lot of growth on now it's warmer. If it works well I'm doing it every year!

I always grow a couple of bags worth in the ploy tunnel. Tat way I get a tiny start on those grown in the ground. Never quite as many or as large as those grown in the ground, but tasty never the less.
I was put on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things; right now I am so far behind I will never die.
