Hi Glen.

Try some turnips. I've just put some Rubens in which are a quick harvester & grow to golf ball size + they're hardy.

Or, try Japanese Radish (Mooli). Can be grown all winter as well.

Cheers Pomey!

Was considering some salad leaves - rocket or maybe even chard?

I am sad to say i have never eaten turnip, maybe this could be somehing to consider.

I also like the idea of the Jap Raddish for an over winter crop.

Thanks for the ideas!

No probs.

With Chard, try the variety Bright Lights as it looks really cool if Chard can be cool? :|

I haven't had turnips for years but have been assured they taste better than the rubbish offered in school dinners or, by my mum. :puker:  ie years ago.
