Hi

Have found on my lettuce leaves what looks like saliva/spit - only a couple of times but what causes it - is there another critter that I could to looking to kill off?

'Cuckoo spit' no doubt.

The larva of the froghopper. They do little damage to the plant, just wash & go!

Definately what it is - cheers for that - couldn't bear for my lovely looking lettuces to be eaten alive.
