besides the weeds.
I know they're not very exciting but I was feeling left out ::)

Very nice! I'm glad I'm not the only one with more than a few bare patches on the plot. Everything seems to be very slow to get going this year. :(

They look nice Lardman :)
... and you've just reminded me what I've forgotten to plant this year >:(

Oooooh they look lovely! Do you mind me asking what variety and when you planted them? :)

Yes, quite splendid really. Hate to tell you how many bare patches I've had in my garden and how many times I've had to reseed a few things. Seems the birds took a sudden interest in our seeds this year, even scratching them out of the ground >:( Had to net them so waiting for anything to ripen other than lettuces.

They look nice ...
They don't taste too bad either :tongue2: Sometimes I think some of the less fashionable veg get forgotten about for no other reason than they dont have exotic names.
They were from a packet I bought from T&M as part of their patio collection in 2005  http://www.thompson-morgan.com/seeds1/product/657/1.html (http://www.thompson-morgan.com/seeds1/product/657/1.html) Planted March 20th Plenty of time left to sow some Aunty - the packet here says ready in 5 weeks
