Tree id, anybody?

I've just notice this tree on a local street because it is covered in tubular looking blossom...

And a close-up

Any ideas?

No idea but i think i would have had a cutting of one of those low bits that need tidying up !

Pretty, isn't it..but my garden is nowhere near big enough for any tree, never mind a one as wide as that one!

google "giant bird cherry" and have a look at images - is that what the tree flowers look like?
