Greenhouse base advice

middle of summer (alright  middle of supposed summer, never saw it myself) i had to move my greenhouse down the garden.

Its currently stood on bare soil, with a few old fence panels as a floor. As a result of the move of course it almost totally messed up everything i had growing, but then so did the weather. (pleasently surprised to see the toms had ripened despite the plants having died)

i was considering when i have the time and moeny of building like a small deck for it, and growing everything in it in tubs, but what do you lot think? should i just make a path and use the soil its one to grow things? most of what grew there this year were superweeds

on a wierd note, the space it went on had already been seeded for sprouts. I noticed today that one sprout plant had made it up in the corner of the greenhouse! :tongue2:

its been a horrid year, so im working on building raised beds that will be easier to take care off next year

I grow in tubs in both my greenhouses. One primarily for tomatoes, the other for cucumbers. (Both are used early season for raising plants from seed for later planting outside).

One has been there years, the other maybe 4. I just simply put some slabs down the middle and then covered the bare soil with pea gravel. Seems to keep the weeds down quite well, in fact I suppose I should do it in the other one.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
