Greenhouse - Any Good
« on: September 02, 2008, 23:21 »
Looking for a 6x4 Greenhouse for the plot and do not want to spend alot.

Saw this on ebay and wanted my friends to give me some advise.

What do you all think. Feedback seems okay.

Try freecycle you may have to dismantle first but it`s worth keeping an eye out for.I think that you may regret buying such a small greenhouse and the polycarb.sheeting will exclude more light by next year.\i would look around and then if desperate by january consider it as prices will not have gone up by then.

looks alright to me.
I've only got a 6be4 at home, and we grow most of our veg in it.
You could try freecycle, you never know, or maybe you notice one that has broken glass and is unused in someones garden locally? a note through the door with a polite offer of cash, may bring cheap results.....

looks ok, good if you can get it for a good price, the only thing that concerns me is that they have all this stuff listed about 24hr delivery but it also says they dont have them in stock yet, so you are paying for something they dont have.

Before buying a glasshouse check your lottie rules as some - like mine do not allow it. Having seen the mess one made recently I can see why. Lotties can be quite open and subject to a lot of wind, much more so that the average garden. For the lottie is a poly tunnel a better alternative ?
