At present we have hens in wooden bird flight as garden not suitable. Can I lay slabs over wooden floor to make cleaning out easier as I have fibromyalgia and so much bending etc causing flare-up? Any suggestions gratefully welcomed. Thanks

Personally I wouldn't, as the space between the wooden floor and the paving slabs would be the perfect hiding place for many a nasty (not only insects/parasites, but moulds and bacteria too.
