ive just found a few mites in my new coop i heard a roumer on here about useing the spray you use to freeze pipes to kill the mites inside the coop could any one shed any light on this being true before i try it please?

its nice in hull today pluss i only have a small coop in the back garden hope you dont find any mites

Been out for the day so will check when the hens go to bed.  Will be able to see if any nasties come out for a feed.

I missed the orginal post about using the pipe freezing spray - it sounds like a brilliant idea!
