Hi everyone - I'm a reasonable frequent visitor to the poultry pages but this is my first post on the gardening front!

Can anyone help- my son-in-law would like a 'cutting' of my black bamboo - is division the best way to do this?  If so, is now the best time to do it?

Hallo there Honeysuckle.  My answers to your questions are yes, and yes.  But don't make it too difficult.   We have recently had a thread on bamboo, so go back a few days and check that out.

Personally, I don't think there is ever a 'wrong time' to do anything with bamboo.  So good luck and enjoy, regards,  Mrs Bouquet
