Hi

I've 3 chicks that will be 2 weeks old on Saturday who are being looked after amazingly well by their adopted mum (she's a sussex, they are bantams), I have another broody hen who's eggs are due to hatch this weekend.

The broody who is sitting is in a loft coop (the one's with the ramp), is this going to be a safe place to hatch chicks, will they be able to get up the ramp (which is fairly big, especially for a chick) if they fall out or would I be better to move the already hatched chicks and their mum into this and move my broody and due eggs to the hen house that is on the floor.

Any advice gratefully received.
