Looking to buy two young ducks for egg production and pets for my Veggie daugher ! But trying to find a reliable supplier in kent has not responded from a google search or on this sites list of suppliers (based near Canterbury).

Can anyone help  :?:

Bludger - welcome to the henhouse - we make our own cider  too- its fantastic isn't it?  Such fun! what apples do you use?
Would love ducks too - hoping to to some indian runners - they are just so incredible :lol:  :lol:

My friend has made the cider
not sure what apples, but they are £45 per ton from the farmers- around here so many orchards are just left with the fruit on the ground to rot!!
Smells great! :tongue2:
I will try in the autumn - what a great process using the natural yeast!!

Thanks for the Ashford link Aunt Sally I will ring the weekend

Still working on a home for the quackers, the eglu looks great and super practical while I could build a super cool duck egg blue duck house in a day (but it may not work as well)
