The thing is, do I do the right thing and pay the cheque into the bank and pay the old credit card off or do I pocket the lot and spend it on wild living and food at Harrogate Flower Show?

I am so glad honey is all better, when i came round she seemed good :) :) :)

I think my grandmas dog is on its last legs though, it was up all last night being sick, very poorly, the vets think she has cancer in a bump/spot, this burst a couple of days ago. They wouldnt operate as she is too old :(

It is quite upsetting realy because the dog has been alive all my life so its allways been there at my grandmas, itll be wiered when shes not there anymore, i dont think ive got so close to a dog before :(
If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!

Oh Jamie,  this is so sad.  What can I say.  Having it been through it twice before I know how you feel.  The only consolation is that she won't be suffering.   :(You will get used to her not being there but it will take time my dear.  Talk about her any time, we're here to listen as well as chat.   Keep us in the picture. ;)

Sorry, forgot about this thread, mindy recovered, she still has the bump which is looking as big as ever, but shes alive, and thats what counts, its a good job we didnt take her the vets to get put down! She is however, on her very last legs, if its possible for pets to get dementia then she has, she can come over to you for you to pet her, then forget what shes doing and go to sleep, or start pooing on the pavement, something she has never done, etc. I love her to bits and dont want her to go. She hasnt realy been the same since her boyfriend (if thats possible) died a couple of months ago, he was a lovely dog, the replacement is a complete idiot, realy stupid ::) Oh well, hopefully ill get to have plenty more happy times with mindy :)
