The shortest day has now been and gone.  Christmas is over, barr the pains.   Now is the time to look forward to the New Year.  I expect, like me, you have been pouring over your seed catalogues.  Thinking about what worked for you and what was a dismal failure.   We cannot predict the weather for the year ahead - will it be wet, dry, hot or just mooch along.

yes its a happy new year to you to Mrs B and to all the rest of the gang    as for the new year well I've got most of my seeds the final batch including our seed potatoes will be delivered mid Feb and I agree entirely with your comments I call it suck it and see what happens will happen I'm afraid

all you can do is give it your best shot and hope the weathers with us but if its not blame it on climate change the same as everyone ells does my wife always says you can't win um all if you get a good crop of something one year it doesn't mean you will achieve the same the next year so as they say you gets your ups and your downs lets hope we get more ups than downs
