Wilko blueberries?
« on: March 10, 2014, 19:08 »
On a visit to local Wilko I succumbed to temptation and bought 2 Blueberry plants. They were on offer at £2 each.  They've gone into large containers in Ericacious compost.

Will they do better in or out of the Polytunnel?

Blueberries really like cool weather so out of the tunnel is best.

However, birds love blueberries so when they start to fruit, be sure to cover them well or you'll get none.

Outside, no question about it.  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
