I've a new compost bin to play with and a new shredder making its way to me.

The composter looks interesting. I wonder whether you have to 'draw off' the liquid from the tank at the bottom of the bin regularly (and what happens if you forget / don't realise it's full); and also whether over time the bit down the middle gets clogged up and stops allowing air down.

The leachate outlet can be left open and, with a hosepipe attached, drip into a container. As for the centre air outlet, I think it will be OK but I'll find that out in a few months of use.
