It feels like one of these things that the growers do "because they can". The guys at the Sarpo website were somewhat scathing on the basis that neither of the components are blight resistant so you end up increasing the risk of losing your crops.

I also debate the question as to whether they crop at the same time. What do you do, wait 'til the tomatoes are ripe when the potatoes will be flowery or have green toms?

I bet we don't see them in three years time.
