Hi all,

Could someone advise on quantities for Rapberry leaf and Lemon Balm teas please?

Also, has anyone tried a combination of the two?

About to start experimenting, but any guidance would be much appreciated.  :)

Found bit's in one of my herbal books

For Raspberry tea; infuse a handful of fresh rasberry leaves in a mug of just boiled water, leave for 10 mins strain and drink............uses for later stages of pregnancy to ease the birth for both mother and child.
Also for the use to lighten heavy periods and lesson PMT.....

Lemon tea; As above, again use a handful!  Helpful with lightening a low mood, mental fatigue, and insomnia!!!!
Hope that helps....plenty more where they come from :nowink:

I thought that raspberry leaves were not recommended for pregnant women because they increase the chance of miscarriage!  No references, I'm afraid, as it's never been relevant to me - just wanted to mention it in case anyone wanted to research it further.

Ok should have said in the last 3 months it's ok! :nowink:

No herbal remedies can be fully recomended for pregnacy due to them not being laboratory tested!!!  If it worked for our grandparents then I don't think it would do much harm!
