Hi again, yet another question please.

I am very new to allotments and just dug a row over, 20 to go lol,
just wonderd what would be good to start with this time of year, im a eager beaver, sitting in me new shed wel d.i.y bits of everything pondering???

i eat anything so thats not problem, hope this makes sense

If you can get seedlings, there's plenty of time to plant out leek and brassica. You can also sow carrots - pick an 'early' variety like Parmex?
for plug plants try www.organicplants.co.uk - they supply most of the main seed firms, so you may as well go to them direct. Or to their shop in March, Cambs, where the plugs are 5p each :shock: - not a million miles from you!

Overwintering onion seed goes in this week. Garlic will go in in November. I sowed Beetroot, Cylindra and Burpees Golden Globe, Chinese Cabbage Michihili, Choy Sum, Purple Flowering, Komatsuna (Mustard Spinach), Lettuce Winter Density and Rouge d'Hiver, Endive, Spinaches Bordeaux and Riccio d’Asti, Broccoli Raab, and Gai Lan in modules today. No reason why they shouldn't be sown direct outdoors if you have space  :D

Oh, and overwintering broadies go in soon 8)
