I don't have a laptop but it must be similar to what I do when uploading my pics. Your camera should have a cable which attaches to your camera. Mine has a flap labelled HDMI which flips up to show two choices for your plug-in devices. Turn your camera off then attach one end of the cable into a USB port in your PC then plug the other end into your camera. Mine goes into the smaller one. Turn your camera on and see what happens. Mine always says import all pics so I cancel that then click on the ones I want to import.
