Small Brown Tomatoes...
« on: July 02, 2009, 22:10 »
My Bambino cherry tomatoes have been going great guns, and are covered in fruit.

However every now and again the immature tomatoes turn completely chocolate brown.  When I cut them open they seem fine, the seeds are nice and white, the skin holds it shape and smells right.  They have not dried out in any way and are still firmly attached to the truss that carries other perfectly fine tomatoes.  They are just brown.

I have been picking them off, but does anyone know what this is?  Some weird throwback of nature or something more sinister.  I'll post a photo tomorrow....

To be honest I am not sure what is happening to yours, but I do know that I have bought a variety this year that produces brown tomatoes.  Any chance yours are mixed up?
