may I wish all of you Happy New year from sunny Northamptonshire and lets hope 2022  the boffins can find a way to kick this covid thing back where it came from once and for all and bring us a more  enjoyable  and healthier year

may I also take the opportunity to thank all of you who have posted many topics of interest over the past year that have certainly  given me sound advise on gardening together with humorous replies [chatting on the plot]
keep it going in 2022 all the best for 2022 RW

Firework displays don’t usually last long, and are not much good in daylight.  ::) :D

'Tis the season to take decs down, and they're already in the roof!

Cards stay up a bit longer though, as we need the names for next year, but at least I've kept my first 'New Year Resolution', which is to chuck something every time I go up into the roof!

Today, it was a load of plastic drainage couplings - I ask you, what on earth did I need those for, and an old keyboard! I'm also burning all my old business cards from contacts I made when I was gainfully employed! The pile was nearly a foot  high...

(And I looked at a few of them, and sadly couldn't remember most of the faces, let alone the names, but one or two stood out and guess what? They were the lovely ladies with whom our firm had a pleasurable business relationship with)!

I'm with Mrs Pea. Last year was a dismal gardening year locally so here's to a happy growing year 2022 for all of us.
