Is this a question in relation to the plot generally, or have you got specific plants in mind?

Sorry i ment the allotment in general as i have done a test and it reading 7 - 7.5 i understand this may be a bit high

Adding lime will raise the pH level. 7 to 7.5 is OK for most crops.

You have good soil for brassicas already............it doesn't look as if you need more lime
