The footings have gone in today and are almost a foot deep. The 2 long sides are against solid surfaces so I really am hoping nothing will get in, I'm sure nothing would get in through the wire mesh as the spaces are small, so fingers crossed rodents won't be a problem. Though of course never say never. Now off to see the chicks as apparently they are now starting to feather.
