worth a try if you have separate broody coops for each hen and also if you can deal with any resulting cockerels which are never easy to re home. However personally I would wait until spring as the weather is due to change again so not ideal for chicks.

Would wait until Spring and OH said he could deal with any boys but they would have to be auto sex chicks as I couldnt bear to look after them for weeks and then get rid of them.
