It's an expression of complete contempt - I was trying to catch 40 winks on the sofa and was a little late with his evening treat. His solution was to climb on my lap and give me the evil eye.  ::)

you ought to try being late with tea for 6 felines, the looks you get... if you are more than 5 minutes late your life is in serious jeopardy.

Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut and be suspected of knowing nothing than opening it and proving it.

OH made the mistake of giving Bill the cat some tuna from his sandwich last week. Now at 12.00 every day he is mithering around for tuna! his time-keeping is immaculate
small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

Yes, how do they know the time so precisely? My cat thinks 2:48 in the morning is the perfect time for breakfast at the minute!

At least Lardman, you only get the evil eye. Yowling, quite literally down my ear, at that time in the morning is a very rude awakening!   :nowink:

Not yowling, that's horrid  ....  I only get a forceful talking to by the cat at 5.50ish.  The alarm goes at 6 - cant she wait?   :( ::)

Ten minutes is a very long time for a very hungry pussy cat!
Mine doesn't realise how loud he is, he's deaf!  :nowink:
