That was just a short time ago and it's only just gone 7:30. I should have known she was up to something, she came bouncing in a while ago with very muddy paws leaving huge paw prints everywhere.  :nowink: Never mind, it'll clean up later. ::)

A very sensible dog  :D
I'd like a fur coat in the winter, but not in the summer

The human beings might be better off under a shade of some sort, Springlands. :D

Very sensible dog

Not a description we get to use very often. ::) She's very intelligent but acts the fool most of the time - entirely on purpose....  :nowink:

We had drama yesterday when our daughters yorkie Taylor got a stick stuck in the roof of his mouth!  Daughter was distraught and insisting we needed to take him to the vets.  Managed to calm both her and Taylor down and her hubby held Taylors mouth open for daughter to remove the stick with a small pair of pointy nosed pliers!   ::)  She was shaking and in tears with the shock afterwards but Taylor was none the worse for wear.   :nowink:

That's a relief that it was relatively easily sorted. :)

He is tall whats he crossed with ??

Your guess is as good as mine - each of the 4 vets I've seen has said something different (Mind you I'd be surprised if vets 1-3 could spell dog !)  I've heard most things - greyhound, whippet , weimarane , pitbull he does move very quickly when he wants to and has the same sort of gate as a greyhound when at speed.

Who me? No, I didn't dig this hole under the hedge...

She does have a very mischievous looking face, I think it's the eyes that do it. Given the heat you can forgive her a hole or 2, safely away from the veg patch - obviously  :)

She has dug a hole in around the same spot in the past, a couple of years ago, and yes it is well away from the veg patch. That's fenced in, originally to keep the chickens out now it's to keep her out, although when she "needs" to get in there she knows how to clamber in round the back of the poytunnel! ::)

I think I came off worst with scatches and bruises on my leg!   I was trying to get a bit of sunlight on them as they rarely see the light of day!  ::)

Bonnie has just dug a huge cooling hole in the middle of the drive, which I then turned my ankle in as I didn't see it.  >:(

I just had Rosies DNA tested (you can buy a kit online from Pets at Home for under £40) and whilst we knew she was staffie x EBT it turns our she is Staffie on her dads side but her mum was EBT x Jack Russel. So you may want to get one of these kits for your boy Lardman - but I would also suggest smooth coat weimaraner.
It takes about 3 weeks to get your results through online.and it goes back to the grandparents on both sides  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

great photos arugula .... Probably the perfect place to be in today's heat.  Looks like she'd heard the weather forecast and was doing a bit of forward planning  :)

Glad they are both ok
