It is wonderful how the animals adapt to their īproblemsī isnīt it?
Our Miki has a strange eye, the pupil is always large, the vet checked it, he said he could see no problem there.  The other day Miki was on the wall when we arrived home and the car headlights really showed up Mikiīs wonky eye.  When it is sunny Miki keeps his wonky eye shut.  Amber is beautiful John.

It was her eyes not reacting to light that alerted me something was up - the first vet we saw said there was nothing wrong... the second picked it up immediately.

Before we had her I would have said keeping a blind cat alive was indulgent and cruel. I know a lot better now. Her quality of life is very good, in fact she's one of the happiest cats we've had.

That's what I say about my dog Jack, Once you get used to the blindness, they are just the same as any other animal.

Here's Jack enjoying a Christmas day swim near Robin hoods bay.

You can also walk along the beach from Sands End to Whitby if the tide is out.

small, Welsh and almost certainly bonkers, but can be tamed with Talisker, if required

She's beautiful - what a pensive expression. Will she become rather a large helper?

Yes we are rather hoping she will become a giant of her breed, but a beautiful little girl at the moment and very affectionate to boot! Here she is again having a little Christmas snack ;)

Awwww i adore her i am in 2 minds on getting a maine coon at the moment. They are a beautiful breed and probly the best sort to deal with the 3 dogs  :) the only thing thats putting me off is ive always had outdoor cats and theres been a lot of cat thefts in our area and a breed as stunning a a maine coon would probly be gone in seconds   >:( I am very jealous right now lol
