Thanks
Both are sulking tonight- walking in the rain is NOT on the approved things to do- especially when it all on the road as many local field flooded/waterlogged again!
I did point out they both had coats on, and I look wetter than they do!
Very often quite lost- would be more lost if I could work out where I was!- But always find my way home.....

Lovely dogs, in great condition.  :)  It's hard to see the staffie influence.

they're gorgeous. i love staffies. the one in our family is nearing 13yrs old and still runs around like a 6month pup. if you ever say kill storm kill! to her she rolls over and asks for a belly rub!

its never the breed - its the owner. not nature but nurture...

Slowly slowly this chap is moving in with us. He's a stray and not a youngster either. His condition is improving with feeding but I'll get him to the vet for a checkover and to see if he's chipped when he's more settled. Notified the local rescue place but must admit I'd rather keep him. We call him Twotone (cos'  he's black and white)

I knew it wouldn't be long before you and Val had Twotone moved in with you full time  ::)

Looks well-settled to me!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Well. what can you do? He's obviously used to living in a house somewhere and he's in need. What's a bit more catfood? Perhaps his owner died or maybe he's just wandered too far - who knows?

Our neighbours cats have been shot at with air rifles and one time one went missing.  It turned up months later and had obviously been taken out of the area and dumped by someone!     The owners were so pleased to get their much treasured pet back.  Well done John in giving Twotone a home even if it might only be temporary.

Sometimes you wish they could talk and tell you who they are and where they have been.   ???  It would save a lot of worry.

But then you have to think, particularly when they give you That Look, what they would say about you if they could talk ....  :D
